I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), hold a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and am also licensed as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I hold dual master’s degrees in nursing and social work, from the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and Samuel Merritt University (SMU).
My education, training, and life experiences inform and guide my belief that mental health and wellness play pivotal roles across all aspects of life including in relationships, personal life, work life, school, physical health and more. I focus on building therapeutic relationships and actively working to build a collaborative relationships to support clients so that they feel empowered to identify their goals in treatment. I believe in a holistic treatment approach which means finding the right tools and treatments to support client’s goals both in the clinic and in their day to day lives. I value our mission at Pacific Heartwood Wellness to be able to find the right support and treatments and continue to grow to offer these in our clinic in order to reduce the amount of time that a client has to navigate the complicated health care system.
When I’m not in the clinic I spend my time exploring different continents, as it constantly broadens my perspective, spending time in nature, and I am an avid fan of Korean TV dramas since 2002 well before they became as popular on Netflix and Amazon Video and I have the DVD collection to prove it! I look forward for the opportunity to support your journey.
